About Danish Culture Courses

For more than 15 years, Danish Culture Courses has offered international students a wide range of courses and summer schools about Danish culture, history, and contemporary topics.

Our courses are taught at bachelor’s level and are open to all international students regardless of their field of study.  You earn ETCS credits if you pass the examinations which are held at the end of every course.

All courses combine both lectures and excursions, which gives a unique understanding of the different topics at hand. We offer several courses each semester on topics such as Danish culture and language, Danish Film, Television and Streaming, Søren Kierkegaard and Hans Christian Andersen, Nordic Mythology, and Danish Architecture and Danish Design.

Danish Culture Courses are a part of The SAXO Institute, which is located at the Faculty of Humanities on UCPH's South Campus in Copenhagen.
